Knight's Message
August 2010
Dear Brother
Knights,
The month of
July started off with a BANG!
We installed our
2010-11 slate of officers for Council 7438 and Assembly
2139. The council officers were installed by our
Past District Deputy Bob Seegmiller, while the assembly
officers were installed by the Assembly Installation Team
headed by Master Mark Hesselgrave, which included the
Color Corp. Thank you gentlemen for traveling to
Greenville to make our installation a memorable one.
Brother Rudy Stefancik served his infamous ham and our
Lady Knights provided finger foods and desserts for the
reception that followed. The spread was second to
none! Thank you ladies and Rudy!
Congratulations to all of the newly elected officers.
I look forward to working with you.
Adopt-A-Highway
headed by Dr. Max Plata with the assistance of a record 24
volunteers policed the 2 mile trek in the record time of
75 minutes. Brother Toby Wilkinson, Lady Diana
Plata, and Dr. Max Plata served breakfast burritos and
donuts. We sure eat well at the Knights of Columbus!
Speaking of eats
Brother Curtis Scott served Shrimp & Crab Legs, Brother
Bill Mulcahy served Brisket, and Dr. Max Plata served
Lemon Grilled Chicken. Desserts were provided by our
Lady Knights. Thank you everyone and your crews for
making our Friday Knights a success.

Pinkston's Corporate Communion Breakfast was again a huge
success. No one left hungry!

and gentlemen for donating your time!

Greenville Knights of Columbus Council 7438 we welcome Fr.
Roberto Butawan to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Commerce,
Texas replacing Fr. George Monaghan. Stop by St.
Joseph and introduce yourself. Father, if you need
